youcanselectthedatabyaltitudebandtodistinguishlowlevelandhighleveltraffic.
GoogleEarthserver
IfyouarereceivingMode-SADS-Bpositionreports,PlanePlottercaninterfacetoGoogle
EarthtodisplayaircraftpositionsovertheGoogleEarthbasemap.Itcanevengiveyoua
dynamicreal-timeviewfromtheflightdeckofanaircraftthatyoudesignate.
Directionfinding
PlanePlottercandetermineanddisplaythedirectionofanytransmissionusingasimple
passiveantennaswitch.Thisallowsaircrafttobelocatedeveniftheyarenotequipped
withACARSorMode-S/ADS-B.
Inputsignals
PlanePlottercandecodeACARSmessages,displaythemessagecontentandplotanypositionson
achart.
PlanePlottercanprocessanddisplayADS-BpositionreportscapturedbytheKineticSBS1(tm),
theAirNavSystemsRadarBox(tm)andtheRxControlMode-Sreceivers.
PlanePlottercanalsoworkinconjunctionwithCharlesBrain'sPC-HFDLsoftware
(http://www.chbrain.dircon.co.uk/pchfdl.html)byautomaticallyextractingpositionreportsfrom
thelogfileandplottingtheminrealtimeonthesamechartdisplay.PlanePlotteraddsvalue
bycalculatingcourseandheadingfromsuccessivereportsfromthesameaircraftandplottingthe
