ThedrumsetsinVINTAGEVIBEareliveandopen:snarescrackandringandtoms
thunder,untamedbygatesorcompressors.Keyboardsweresampledcleanand
througholdamps,yieldingsoundsrangingfrom"classic"to"borderlinepsychotic"
(seetheFilthyWurlitzerpatch).Bassesandguitarswereset-uptoreplicatea
varietyofretrosoundsandstylesfrommanymusicalgenres.Andforgoodmeasure,
weevenincludedapsychedelicstapleofthelate1960's,theelectricsitar.
